Project Overview
For this project, we were supposed to have a social media campaign to raise awareness about different chemical reactions that have equilibrium. This was a solo project, so everyone had to do one. We had freedom to choose our medium and what topic we could do. There were only four rules for this part of the project and they had to contain...
What I did
The first thing I did was choose a topic, which was atmospheric conditions for climate change. I understood it as another way of saying global warming. After I did that, I chose what my medium would be and I chose to do mine through the Instagram app. The next steps were to do research and to start making our supporting documents. Every day, we had to fill out a section of a SMART goal sheet to try to have meaning to every period. After research was the actual project. At the end, I had 12 posts and 28 followers. After we turned in our projects, the class had a gallery walk where each student gave feedback on 3 other students' projects. For those of you who were hoping that they could see the project on this page, I'm sorry because you have to click on the link down below. I explained all the major terms in my Instagram posts, so no need to write them here.
Reflection
The timing of this project was horrible because it was during the time when I was writing my JRP, so I was stressed out a little bit. I also did not like the project because on the night before it was due, I had to spend 5 hours on this project because I chose the wrong topic. I found out that there were no equilibrium equations on global warming, so I chose to branch off and do ocean acidification. After this change, I found that the rest was a breeze because I found what I needed when I was stuck. Another thing that I found was that since I couldn't change the order of my posts on Instagram, I should have planned out the order before posting. So what I learned is to plan things out better and to change topics earlier rather than later. A positive that came out of the project was that I gained a deeper knowledge of chemical equilibrium. Another positive was that I got to choose my topic, so this project was a little bit better than expected. I give this project a 4/10 because of the stress it put on me, but I learned some lessons from my mistakes.

- a chemical equation
- Data with numbers or a graph
- An explanation of the concept
- A description of the system in balance, out of balance, and how disturbances affect the reaction
